A bug I reported in Wallos, where two-factor authentication QR codes failed for non-ASCII usernames, was fixed in v5.4.5.

I reported a bug in Wallos, an open-source subscription manager. The two-factor authentication QR code did not appear when the username contained non-ASCII characters.

The report is issue #1147. The fix proposed there shipped in v5.4.5 on 23 August 2026 and is still present in v5.8.3.
